The project took part during Easter holidays 2010. Ten young people worked towards their Driving License in the course of the week learning theory, and provided they already had a provisional license, in practical lessons. The sessions were delivered by DVLA qualified instructors.

Last day the participants spent competing with each other on the karting arena.

The driving school is a unique project. It continues to make a positive impact on young peoples' lives.

Responses from the participants:

What have you enjoyed about the course?

Everything.

Driving and learning theory.

I really enjoyed practical lessons as I felt relaxed and open to learning new things and also making mistakes. Kim was very good teacher. In theory section, I learned so much over the little time I've been here and I enjoyed it thoroughly as it didn't feel at all like school or college.

What have not you like about the course?

The length of time. It should be longer.

What could be improved?

Times that people are supposed to go, and the length of time people get to drive for.
