May Break Play Training for CYC Young Support Leaders:

During May half term, Clapham Youth Centre hosted training sessions for CYC Young Support Leaders in play practice and theory. The training was provided by Lambeth Play for those who are already working or volunteering with youth.

Young people learned about essential aspects of play theory, risk assessment and management, child protection and equality . Theory was combined with practical games.

Those who completed the course will be invited to take part in our Summer Project as young leaders. The next training event is scheduled for the end of June in Woodrow High House.

The training was sponsored by Lambeth Endowed Charities.

Play Training was a part of our ongoing workforce development.
