With the summer project coming to its end, there young Leaders pilot phase is completing. All young leader, nine young people, have proved a great asset to our programme& The approach to engage young people in paid experience as leaders has helped enormously to young people themselves, and above all to the youth centre' programme and their peers. With the receipt of a grant for the new academic year, young people will be evaluated and we will offer four six-months part time contracts to those, who successfully completed the pilot stage and is willing to continue as Young Leaders.

There also will be short time opportunities for those willing to try themselves in this role.

We are very pleased, that one of our young leaders, Myozen through the support of Lambeth Endowed Charities was employed as support project worker for the summer project.

During the summer project our members voted for Harley Sewell and Mojid Sadiq as two best young leaders. This empowered Harley andSadiq decide on the spending of Jack Petchey award grant. They suggested that more PS3 lay equipment to be purchased.

Following a very successful Easter Project we support young people in the role of BG Garden Rangers. Currently three young people support gardener on Saturdays in Blenheim Garden Estate. Now, the project is coming under supervision of Simon Garthey, our community gardener, who will continue to develop it and support the young rangers.
